Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Özgür Kıbrıs, received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 2000. He conducted postdoctoral research at KU Leuven and taught courses at Duke University and the University of Rochester. He previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Sabancı University. His research focuses on behavioral economics, political economy, decision theory, game theory, economic design, and experimental economics. He has also served as principal investigator in several TÜBİTAK-funded projects. Dr. Kıbrıs, a recipient of the TÜBA-GEBİP Award and a member of the Scientific Board of the Murat Sertel Center for Advanced Economic Studies, enjoys playing the piano and tennis, as well as swimming.
