Prof. Dr. Orhan Karacadağ Awards for Scientific Achievement have been established through a generous donation in March 2007 from Türkan Karacadağ and Şükran Karacadağ, loving sisters of Prof. Orhan Karacadağ, in his memory. Professor Orhan Karacadağ is the father of Sinan Karacadağ, who passed away in 1999 when he was a student in the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University during the 1998-1999 academic year.

Prof. Dr. Orhan Karacadağ Award is given to graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) students that have a paper that is accepted to a journal or presented in a conference. The paper is expected to related to her/his M.S. thesis or Ph.D. dissertation topic and have a potential for societal impact or relevance to the business world. The student is required to be the leading author of the paper. The awardees will be evaluated twice a year, at the end of July and December. The potential awardees are selected by the Awards & Funds committee members and the Director of the M.S./Ph.D. program. The FBA Executive Board determines the winners.

The students are required to fill the application form and submit it to the M.S./Ph.D. Programs Coordinator (remin@bilkent.edu.tr) before the deadline.
