Dear undergraduate students of all programs, M.S. students and MBA students, We are excited to announce that Bilkentpreneurs Challenge 2026, a startup pitch competition organized in collaboration with Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration, the Beba Foundation, and Revitt with support from Bilkent Cyberpark, is now open to all students enrolled in universities located in Ankara! The competition invites students to form teams and submit startup business proposals featuring innovative products, technologies, or services that create a positive impact on people and the environment. As the Faculty of Business Administration's MBA, MS ve PhD programs, we participated in the 28th Bilkent University Career Fair held on February 19, 2026. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Aydoğan, who supported our promotional activities by visiting our booth, to the Bilkent University Career Center for organizing the event, and to all the candidates who showed interest in our programs.

It was a pleasure to come together, share joyful moments, and celebrate the wonderful people who contribute so much to our academic community every day. The Faculty of Business Administration recently hosted an AI Training Seminar for both academic and administrative staff, delivered by Bora Güngören, Instructor and Founder & Managing Partner of Portakal Teknoloji. The seminar focused on the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence in university work, introducing context-first and structured AI workflows for teaching, assessment, research support, and administrative processes. Emphasis was placed on clear task definition, explicit constraints, and human verification. The session brought together faculty members’ high expectations and critical perspectives, resulting in constructive discussions on the limitations, risks, and appropriate framework for AI use.

On Friday, January 9, we were delighted to host Mr. Haluk Dortluoğlu, CEO of File Market, as part of the Bilkent EMBA Leaders’ Talks series. Set in the inspiring atmosphere of the İhsan and Ayser Doğramacı Science, Culture and Arts Center, the event brought our EMBA community together for an inspiring conversation on the retail sector, as well as Mr. Dortluoğlu’s leadership vision. The evening continued with a lively Q&A session, followed by a networking cocktail that created a warm and engaging atmosphere for further exchange of ideas. We sincerely thank Mr. Haluk Dortluoğlu for sharing his valuable insights and all our colleagues who contributed to the organization of this memorable event. At Bilkent EMBA, we remain committed to connecting our participants with distinguished leaders from the business world.

The Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration organized a warm Welcome 2026 event on December 18 with the contributions of its academic staff, administrative staff, and graduate students. Kürşat Aydoğan, Rector of Bilkent University, and Orhan Aytür, Provost of Bilkent University, were also in attendance. The Faculty of Business Administration hosted its second Networking & Community-Building Happy Hour on November 27, 2025 — this time in our new faculty lounge! We were delighted to see strong participation from our colleagues. The high level of engagement once again demonstrated our Faculty’s commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and connected work environment. Holding the event in the new faculty lounge provided an inviting environment that encouraged conversations, strengthened communication across teams, and deepened our sense of community.  We look forward to continuing these gatherings to maintain strong teamwork and drive our Faculty’s ongoing success.

The Faculty of Business Administration family is deeply saddened by the passing of Mehmet Selçuk Uslu, a former faculty member who made valuable contributions to our faculty and to the academic community throughout his career. Selçuk Hoca will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of working with him and learning from him. We extend our profound condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and students. His dedication to education and meaningful impact as an educator, colleague, and mentor will always be remembered.
