The Faculty of Business Administration recently hosted an AI Training Seminar for both academic and administrative staff, delivered by Bora Güngören, Instructor and Founder & Managing Partner of Portakal Teknoloji. The seminar focused on the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence in university work, introducing context-first and structured AI workflows for teaching, assessment, research support, and administrative processes. Emphasis was placed on clear task definition, explicit constraints, and human verification. The session brought together faculty members’ high expectations and critical perspectives, resulting in constructive discussions on the limitations, risks, and appropriate framework for AI use.
On Friday, January 9, we were delighted to host Mr. Haluk Dortluoğlu, CEO of File Market, as part of the Bilkent EMBA Leaders’ Talks series. Set in the inspiring atmosphere of the İhsan and Ayser Doğramacı Science, Culture and Arts Center, the event brought our EMBA community together for an inspiring conversation on the retail sector, as well as Mr. Dortluoğlu’s leadership vision. The evening continued with a lively Q&A session, followed by a networking cocktail that created a warm and engaging atmosphere for further exchange of ideas. The Faculty of Business Administration hosted its second Networking & Community-Building Happy Hour on November 27, 2025 — this time in our new faculty lounge! We were delighted to see strong participation from our colleagues. The high level of engagement once again demonstrated our Faculty’s commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and connected work environment. Holding the event in the new faculty lounge provided an inviting environment that encouraged conversations, strengthened communication across teams, and deepened our sense of community.
