The Faculty of Business Administration hosted its second Networking & Community-Building Happy Hour on November 27, 2025 — this time in our new faculty lounge! We were delighted to see strong participation from our colleagues. The high level of engagement once again demonstrated our Faculty’s commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and connected work environment. Holding the event in the new faculty lounge provided an inviting environment that encouraged conversations, strengthened communication across teams, and deepened our sense of community. We look forward to continuing these gatherings to maintain strong teamwork and drive our Faculty’s ongoing success.
The Faculty of Business Administration family is deeply saddened by the passing of Mehmet Selçuk Uslu, a former faculty member who made valuable contributions to our faculty and to the academic community throughout his career. Selçuk Hoca will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of working with him and learning from him. We extend our profound condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and students. His dedication to education and meaningful impact as an educator, colleague, and mentor will always be remembered.
On November 7, 2025, the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University gathered for a team lunch at Big Chefs. The event brought together Dean Prof. Özgür Kıbrıs, Associate Deans Assoc. Prof. Zahide Karakitapoğlu and Assoc. Prof. Başak Tanyeri Günsür, along with all administrative staff. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect outside the office, strengthen teamwork, and celebrate the collaborative spirit of our faculty. The Faculty of Business Administration, together with Bodrum Offshore Sailing Club, welcomed the EMBA 2025 class with a 3-day orientation program in Bodrum Through sailing, our incoming EMBA class didn’t just navigate the waters — they navigated teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Taking on different roles within the crews gave them the chance to experience trust, collaboration, and the true spirit of being part of a team. The journey ended with an exciting sailing race and a medal ceremony that celebrated not only the winners but also the bonds built at sea. With this inspiring start, we are confident that our EMBA 2025 class will keep sailing toward success in both their academic and professional lives!
The Faculty of Business Administration held a faculty dinner on September 9, 2025, at Deniz Yıldızı Restaurant in Çayyolu to mark the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year and to express sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Selim Aktürk for his invaluable contributions during his tenure as Interim Dean. Faculty members and their spouses gathered in a warm and friendly atmosphere, celebrating both the start of the new academic year and Prof. Aktürk’s dedicated service and leadership.

Organized in collaboration with the Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration, the Beba Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation, Loop Games, and the logistic support of Bilkent Cyberpark and Durukan Şekerleme, the event brought together some of the most promising student entrepreneurs.
