The Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University successfully held its Fifth Project Fair and Competition on June 2, 2026, at the Mithat รoruh Conference Hall. The event served as a platform for senior students, organized into 21 teams, to present their research findings and innovative solutions to real-world business problems developed in collaboration with 21 prominent partner companies: Tรผrkiye ฤฐล Bankasฤฑ A.ล., Nestlรฉ, Jotform Yazฤฑlฤฑm A.ล., Bilkent Holding, Cengiz Holding, Akakรงe Bilgi Teknolojileri A.ล., ฤฐkikardeล Otomotiv, ASRHรR, Mutfak Sanatlarฤฑ Akademisi (MSA), SolarVis Co., ERL Solar Montaj Sistemleri, Tavuk Dรผnyasฤฑ, Baklavacฤฑ Hacฤฑbaba, Savarona Dining, Saytek Medikal, Fetih Tekstil, TaleWorlds Entertainment, Woppy Teknoloji A.ล., Vezin Yeminli Mali Mรผลavirlik A.ล., Emeklilik Gรถzetim Merkezi (EGM), and Be Advise. These partnerships spanned banking, automotive, defense and engineering, software and SaaS, healthcare and medical manufacturing, gastronomy and FMCG, textiles, audit and advisory, the individual pension system, real estate and furniture, and entertainment and gaming.
The day commenced with a poster presentation session, during which all participating teams introduced their projects to a diverse audience of faculty members, industry professionals, and fellow students. This interactive session allowed attendees to engage directly with the teams, offering valuable insights into their analytical approaches and research methodologies. The competition for the Best Poster Award was highly competitive, with all teams displaying commendable rigor, creativity, and presentation skills.
The event culminated in the finalist presentations, the most anticipated segment of the day. Based on the outcomes of the initial evaluations, six teams were selected as finalists to contend for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards. These teams delivered comprehensive presentations before a distinguished jury panel composed of industry leaders and academic experts.
The finalist presentations reflected the students’ strong grasp of complex business challenges and their capacity to formulate practical and impactful solutions. The jury evaluated the projects based on several key criteria, including innovation, feasibility, analytical depth, and potential organizational impact.
This year, in addition to the Best Poster Award and the top three project awards, the Faculty introduced a new recognition: the Societal Impact Award, honoring the project that demonstrated the strongest potential to create broader societal value. The event reflects the Faculty’s commitment to its AACSB accreditation standards and its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
The Faculty extends its congratulations to all participating students for their hard work and professionalism, and its sincere appreciation to the partner companies and jury members for their invaluable contributions to the success of this academicโindustry collaboration.
The event concluded with the announcement of the awards, recognizing outstanding achievement in research quality, innovation, presentation, and societal contribution.
