
Tuğçe Özgen Genç
Dr. Genc joined Bilkent University in September 2026. She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Strathclyde University (2026), an MSc in Marketing from Bilkent University (2021), an MBA from TOBB ETU (2012) and a BSc in Food Engineering from METU (2008). Before joining academia, she acquired seven years of hands-on experience in the food sector, focusing on food safety and quality. Her research investigates the opportunities and challenges presented by a more informed and proactive consumer base, with particular focus on Customer/Actor Engagement in Marketing and sustainable consumption practices.
