Barış İnce receieved his PhD degree in Economics from Koc University in 2019. He was a visiting scholar at Said Business School, University of Oxford at 2018. His primary research area is empirical asset pricing. In this context, he studies how regulations affect cross-sectional pricing of individual stocks, the relation between demand for lottery-type stocks and their returns, and the linkage between personal savings rate and expected returns. In corporate finance context, he also investigates whether regulatory costs affect M&A decisions and outcomes.
